The New York Jets will have their work cut out for them to bounce back from an 8-8 season. While most predict the Jets have a somewhat difficult schedule this year, it's not as tough when you take into consideration all the upgrades they have made to the team. Most notably, RB Chris Johnson will be the difference-maker for the Jets using his legs to defeat opponents.

Take a look at some early predictions for every Jets game this season.

Week 1: Oakland Raiders

Week 1: Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders come into town, and the Jets should easily defeat them in their home opener. While the Raiders made significant upgrades during the offseason, just because they have star names on the roster doesn't always translate to victories. Jets win 24-7.

Week 2: at Green Bay Packers

Week 2: at Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers boast one of the most potent offenses in the entire NFL. It also doesn't help the Jets that they're playing against them in Lambeau Field. Due to a lack of any strong defensive backs, expect Aaron Rodgers and company to launch an aerial assault and exploit this big weakness on the Jets. Jets lose 38-14.

Week 3: Chicago Bears

Week 3: Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are a pretty balanced team when it comes to their passing, rushing and defense. Expect a tough fight between both teams with the Bears squeaking out a victory in MetLife Stadium. Jets lose 17-14.

Week 4: Detroit Lions

Week 4: Detroit Lions

Becoming yet another powerhouse on offense, the Detroit Lions come to town to see what Megatron has in store for the Jets. Calvin Johnson is one of the best wide receivers playing today so expect a big game from him. Don't forget that the Lions' defense is very good and will be all over the Jets offense. Jets lose 21-3.

Week 5: at San Diego Chargers

The Jets head to the west coast to take on some familiar foes in the San Diego Chargers. If the Jets are to make a statement this season, they absolutely must win as many games possible on the road. Expect to see the Jets' defense shine in this game and they take the victory. Jets win 28-14.

Week 6: Denver Broncos

Week 6: Denver Broncos

Peyton Manning is going to play this season with a major chip on his shoulder due to that burning loss in the Super Bowl. Expect to see him have a strong game, but the Jets will have an even better showing. The Broncos lost a few of their superstars in the offseason, so expect to see the Jets pull a huge upset by having their defense step up and get a few interceptions off Manning. Jets win 21-10.

Week 7: at New England Patriots

Week 7: at New England Patriots

Make no mistake about it; the New England Patriots are the best team in the AFC East. They will continue to dominate teams, especially their neighbors in the division. Unfortunately for the Jets, the Patriots are too much to handle in Gillette Stadium. Jets lose 38-21.

Week 8: Buffalo Bills

Week 8: Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills tend to do very well against the Jets, but they haven't really improved much in the offseason and lost a few of their best athletes. Expect the Jets to take advantage of their depleted secondary and win a shootout. Jets win 24-14.

Week 9: at Kansas City Chiefs

Week 9: at Kansas City Chiefs

This is the season of upsets for the Jets. While most predict the Kansas City Chiefs to pick up where they left off last year, expect the Jets to have a dominating win using their ground-and-pound style of running the football. Expect a huge rushing game. Jets win 35-28.

Week 10: Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 10: Pittsburgh Steelers

At this point of the season the Jets are 5-4 and heading into a bye week. They must play their absolute best to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers and go into a week of rest on a high note. Look for the Jets to play smart and beat the Steelers in the air and ground with a balanced offensive attack. Jets win 17-10.

Week 11: Bye

Week 12: at Buffalo Bills

Week 12: at Buffalo Bills

For some reason after a bye week, the Jets sometimes forget how to play professional football. Not this time, though. The Bills will remember their loss a few weeks ago and will want revenge. Expect them to give a good effort but ultimately fall by a field goal. Jets win 24-21.

Week 13: Miami Dolphins

Week 13: Miami Dolphins

The rivalry between the Jets and Miami Dolphins is as historic as it is nail-biting. Ryan Tannehill is only getting better each year, so expect to see him have a solid game with minimal mistakes. It'll be too much for the Jets to handle. Jets lose 28-13.

Week 14: at Minnesota Vikings

The Jets usually do well against the Minnesota Vikings even though they'll see a huge dose of Adrian Peterson. Expect the Jets to rally from behind and win in dramatic fashion. Jets win 17-14.

Week 15: at Tennessee Titans

Who doesn't love a good homecoming? Expect a monster game from Chris Johnson as he returns home to face his previous team. Jets win 35-10.

Week 16: New England Patriots

Tom Brady is the man to beat in the AFC East. As long as he's under center, the Jets will be dismantled on defense. Jets lose 27-3.

Week 17: at Miami Dolphins

Like always, it's going to most likely come down to a game and some help for the Jets to make the NFL playoffs. Expect the same with the Miami Dolphins. Both teams will have yet another AFC East classic with the Jets coming out on top and ending the season 10-6 with a Wild Card berth.
