On Wednesday night, the NFL schedule was released for every team. The Denver Broncos will be battle tested right out of the gate and will look to begin their quest for another AFC Championship and hopefully a Super Bowl win. The schedule starts with quite a few challenges, but eases up as the season goes on. Having their bye week early on will really test the team's toughness.

Here are the five games that will be huge for the Broncos in 2014.

The Broncos start right out the gate by facing Peyton Manning's old team that made it to the divisional round last year. Last season, the Broncos took a difficult 39-33 loss at Lucas Oil Stadium for their first blemish of 2013 and will certainly look to avenge that right off the bat. A win against the Colts to kick off the season will give the team some confidence.

4. Week 7 Vs. San Francisco 49ers

Towards the halfway point of the season, the Broncos square off against a team that they could have faced in the Super Bowl last year. The San Francisco 49ers bring a stingy defense to Mile High Stadium hoping to steal a win. It will be an intriguing battle between Manning and Colin Kaepernick.

This primetime matchup could set the tone for the division title when the Chiefs and the Broncos square off for the second time during the season. Arrowhead Stadium is always a difficult place to play. Add the fan base and a Sunday Night game and you have quite a battle late in the season on your hands.

The very anticipated Super Bowl 48 rematch takes place just three weeks into the NFL season. It is a shame that this game was not placed on national television, but this could be the most interesting early non-primetime game of the 2014 season. The Broncos will hope to avenge an embarrassing loss to the current Super Bowl champs in Week 3.

Having this game at the midpoint of the season could really set the tone for the seeding of the AFC when this game is said and done. A rematch of the AFC Championship Game, Brady vs Manning XVI, and the two teams on the top of the AFC. What more could you ask for?
