The NFL released its schedule to the droves of football fans everywhere. The New York Jets are in for another interesting season, especially with all the new faces in town. Take a look at 5 of the biggest games to look forward to in 2014.

Due to holes in the defensive secondary, the Jets will have a tough time against quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers. Whomever the Jets acquire in the 2014 NFL Draft at cornerback will be put to an ultimate test against a high-octane Packers offense. While most predict the Jets to lose, if they can get pressure on Rodgers and shut down his speedy receivers, they might have a shot to stun them in Lambeau Field.

4. Week 6: vs. Denver Broncos

Quarterback Peyton Manning will be playing with a chip on his shoulder from last year. Known to torch the Jets on offense, the Broncos are relentless when moving the chains. The Jets, however, will have a huge advantage in being able to defeat the Broncos at home. Keeping Manning off the field is the top priority. The Jets can beat the Broncos if they stick to running the football and letting RB Chris Johnson defeat them with his legs.

3. Week 13: vs. Miami Dolphins & Week 17: at Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins always provide great games against the Jets. While most predict the Jets to split even with their AFC East neighbors, the Jets should be able to do some damage against them in the air with guys like Eric Decker, Jacoby Ford and utilizing various screen plays. For some reason, screen plays have been very effective against them and now it should be even better with the latest additions on the Jets.

2. Week 15: at Tennessee Titans

Talk about a homecoming! The Jets will be heading to Tennessee to play against the Titans and show them what a revitalized Chris Johnson looks like wearing a green and white uniform. Expect a huge game by CJ2K as he will have a monster performance against his old team and the Jets make a huge statement against his former employer.

1. Week 7: at New England Patriots & Week 16: vs. New England Patriots

What else can you say about the cream of the crop of the AFC East? The New England Patriots for years now have always been the team to beat, and last year the Jets split even against them as there is always bad blood between both teams. Expect to see a showdown, and if the Jets are really serious about making a playoff run this upcoming season, it all starts with going 2-0 against the Patriots.
