The Oakland Raiders kept themselves busy in free agency. With money to spend, Oakland brought in Maurice Jones-Drew, Donald Penn, James Jones and Justin Tuck. All four are notable players at their respective positions. The Raiders will also have a top-5 pick in this year's draft to select an instant-starter. Can Oakland compete in the AFC West in 2014? Here are their most notable games for next season.

If the Raiders do end up competing for the division title, which is unlikely right now, this game will most likely be a must-win. The Chiefs are coming off a strong season, but they will be hungry for more in 2014. The Raiders didn't win a game in the division last year, and that will be a big storyline in this game as they would be going up against one of the NFL's elite defenses.

To play the defending Super Bowl champion is tough. The Seahawks are years better than the Raiders, but Oakland could play up to their competition in this one. Playing at CenturyLink Field is extremely difficult, but the Raiders should be playing with no pressure in this game. Oakland will be playing Seattle with house money.

This will be an interesting game because it will be Oakland's first game in the new season against an elite team. No disrespect to the Jets or the Texans, but the Patriots have the ability to reach the Super Bowl next season. If Oakland starts off the season 2-0, it could very well be a fluke. This game will be Oakland's first real challenge of the season.

After their bye week in Week 5, the Raiders will host the San Diego Chargers the following week. This will be their first game against a divisional opponent, and starting off their divisional schedule with a record of 1-0 would be helpful. The Chargers have a fast-paced offense, and it will be a good challenge for Oakland's defense in this game.

To start off the 2014 NFL season, the Raiders will travel to New Jersey to play in the stadium where the Super Bowl was held last year. No one knows what this Oakland team will look like in 2014. They have added new pieces, but they have lost some key players too. Another thing to worry about is the quarterback position. Is Matt Schaub the long-term answer? The Raiders have a real opportunity to hit the ground running to start next season.
