A lot of NFL linemen probably get stereotyped. I’m sure many people see giants like Evan Mathis of the Philadelphia Eagles and think that he’s just another big dumb lineman. They might think he’s into mudding in his Ford F-250 or that he works as a bouncer on the side. But they couldn’t be more wrong.

Mathis not only drives a green vehicle, he drives the ultimate green vehicle — a tricycle.

Check out this Instagram video of the OL and his ‘whip’:

Isn’t that awesome? Just watching his large body on that little tric is hilarious. However, his point is a good one — he doesn’t pay for gas.

People can say what they want about the way he looks on his green mobile, but at the end of the week, he’s got a few extra Andrew Jacksons in his pockets.

The more people that start subscribing to these alternative green mobiles, the better. It doesn’t matter what political party you’re affiliated with or what you think of people who drive green vehicles, the world needs to start conserving more gas and fossil fuels.

For people like Mathis who don’t have a long commute to work, electric vehicles are the ticket. Even if you’re not sold on electric cars or scooters, you can still save money and gas by buying a moped or motorcycle.

Is the car culture finally starting to shift in this country? Are we finally over big ol’ SUVs and gas guzzlers? Not yet, but we’ve come a long way in the past few years.
