Year two of the Doug Marrone regime is underway. If the Buffalo Bills hope to return to the playoffs for the first time since the 1999 season, these five players need to have productive seasons. Otherwise, Bills fans will suffer through another non-playoff year.

Nigel Bradham saw the Bills' linebacking corps get crowded this offseason. Brandon Spikes and Keith Rivers were free agent additions. The fourth-year player out of Florida State will need to excel in the preseason and shine on special teams if he hopes to make the roster.

Ron Brooks has had a hard time staying healthy. The corner from LSU has missed 12 games his first two years in the league. He lost the nickel corner job last season to undrafted rookie Nickell Robey. If free agent signee Corey Graham does not move to safety as speculated, Brooks could find himself on the outside looking in.

Chris Hairston is a vital piece to the Bills' offensive line. Hairston has started at right tackle. He has also been a valuable player as a swing tackle. Staying healthy has been a problem for Hairston. He missed the entire 2013 season with an injury. He is still working to get healthy for 2014. This uncertainty could lead Buffalo to drafting a tackle in the first round when the team might prefer to add another playmaker.

Buffalo moved up in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft to select Graham. So far, he has underwhelmed at the pro level. Graham has great straight line speed, but questionable hands. Hopefully his third year in the league will prove to be his breakout season. The addition of Mike Williams, however, could cut into Graham's playing time.

The Bills have done a pretty good job of misusing Spiller in his career. Last year, he was forced to run between the tackles to get his yards. His strength is bouncing to the outside and outrunning defenders. Another unproductive season could be his ticket out of Buffalo. Of course, the Bills can try and utilize Spiller correctly and get him into space so he can use his speed to wreak havoc on defenses.
