It is well known which direction the Chicago Bears need to go with their first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft. However, the later rounds are still a bit of an unknown. These five players are potential targets for the Bears and will still be hanging around in the later rounds of the draft.

Joyner will be on the board as the Bears pick in the second round and would be a great addition to this newly refurbished defense. Joyner has played both CB and S while in college and is the definition of a "ball hawk".

Hampton would be a good value pick for the Bears because he is under-valued due to some character concerns. The Bears' defense has the veteran personnel in place to handle him and help him adjust to the pro game. With an aging Charles Tillman, the Bears definitely need to add some depth in the defensive backfield.

3. DeAnthony Thomas - RB, Oregon

The Bears recently brought in Shaun Draughn to back up Matt Forte, but he is not the answer the Bears are looking for. Thomas would bring breakout speed and big play potential to an already lethal Bears offense.

2. Max Bullough - ILB, Michigan State

The Bears are entering a transition period at linebacker and could use some young talent at the position. Bullough is another player who may be around in the later rounds because of concerns over his size issues, though with Lance Briggs and D.J. Williams surrounding him, Bullough could flourish with the Bears.

1. Connor Shaw - QB, South Carolina

Shaw had a collegiate career riddled with injuries, though he constantly battled through them. He is the definition of a competitor and would bring some great qualities to the Bears' locker room. Going 27-5 as a starter he is a flat out winner and comes with the added benefit of familiarity with Alshon Jeffery, as the two played together during Jeffery's time in college.
