The Green Bay Packers have the weapons on offense to make a deep run in the playoffs, but there is room for improvement on the defensive side of the ball. Here are five players who the Packers should trade for.

Stephen Hill is a big and physical receiver who has a ton of potential. The New York Jets drafted him a few years ago knowing he would be a project. Hill is still a bit raw, but there is reason to like Hill in Green Bay's offense. Hill could fill the void left by James Jones in free agency.

4. Dan Skuta

A.J. Hawk is a solid linebacker in the 3-4 defense, but he needs a guy next to him who is competent. While he has never been a starter, Dan Skuta has bounced around the league for years and he is a solid journeyman. If the Packers decide to start an experienced linebacker, Skuta would be a great option.

3. James Hanna

James Hanna once had a promising career with the Dallas Cowboys. That narrative went into shambles after the Cowboys drafted Gavin Escobar in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Since, Hanna has fallen out of favor and he needs a change of scenery. The Packers should be on the lookout to add another tight end, and Hanna has the tools to succeed in this offense.

2. Sharrif Floyd

Sharrif Floyd was once viewed as a top five pick in last year's draft. Floyd slipped all the way to the Vikings at the end of the first round and he never had solid playing time in his rookie season. B.J. Raji will be back for next season, but the future doesn't look bright after that. Drafting Floyd would be a good contingency plan.

Rafael Bush played exceptionally well at free safety for the New Orleans Saints after Kenny Vaccaro tore his ACL. The Packers have a glaring need at the free safety position and Bush would be an excellent plug-in option there. He would be a nice stopgap solution too as the Packers could groom a free safety while Bush would start. Trading for Bush wouldn't cost much either.
