The Saints' legendary kicker Morten Andersen has apparently been chosen to announce New Orleans' second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Andersen played with the Black and Gold from 1982 to 1994 before being traded to the Atlanta Falcons. He totaled 25 years in the NFL and will likely be inducted into Hall of Fame as one of the greatest kickers of all time.

The Saints will target a wide receiver in this year's draft after the departure of Lance Moore. NFL Analyst Mike Mayock says Marqise Lee will be their guy in the first round. Lee visited New Orleans a couple of weeks back, so maybe Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis will target him next Thursday. The Saints could use his athleticism on special teams as well.

Former Saints and current free agent center Jonathan Goodwin made a visit to New Orleans in April. After failing to resign C Brian de la Puente, the Saints are in desperate need of a center. Why not sign a guy who is already experienced in Sean Payton's offense? If the team is unable to snag a promising, young prospect in the draft, Goodwin may be back in Black and Gold this upcoming season.

It looks like the Saints will choose not to exercise the fifth-year option on RB Mark Ingram, making him a free agent following the 2014 season. This could open up trade opportunities come draft day. Maybe a team in the market for a RB will be looking to cough up a fifth or sixth-round pick for the former Heisman Trophy winner. New Orleans would love an extra shot at finding a late-round steal, if the price is right. Maybe another RB?

Days ago, Aaron Murray told ESPN's Mike Triplett "I'll gladly back up Drew Brees for a few years. That's fine with me. He's my favorite quarterback." Murray has drawn a lot of comparisons to the Pro Bowl quarterback as of late. The Saints need to start thinking about life after Brees, and stealing the SEC All-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns would be a great start.
