Tom Brady Gets in Kentucky Derby Mode With Goofy Hat

Tom Brady is always the topic of fashion jokes these days. He wears Uggs and random attire that only a million dollar man could pull off. Now he’s blowing up the internet with his hat.

In the first picture you might recognize the guy on the far right. It’s Vince Wilfork, Brady’s teammate on the New England Patriots.
The two are in attendance at Friday’s warm up event for the 2014 Kentucky Derby. Whether you like Brady’s hat or not, you have to give him credit for getting into character. If you’re going to go to a horse race — why not look the part? All he needs now is a set of binoculars, a program and an adult beverage of his choice (probably a mint julep).
As for the Patriots, they’re coming off yet another disappointing postseason run. They managed to get to the AFC title game once again this past January, but were dismantled by the Broncos. The Pats are now going on 10 years without a Super Bowl victory, even though they’ve been to the big game twice since 2005.
There’s no reason to think that Brady and company won’t be right back in the thick of things in 2014. The Patriots don’t rebuild, they just reload with more guys that subscribe to their way of doing things. While fans are probably frustrated with the lack of SB titles lately, they still have to realize how much worse things could be.
