The Detroit Lions are one of several teams that are in need of multiple positions. With the No. 10 overall selection this year, rumors about the Lions' plans have been everywhere from wide receiver to cornerback to linebacker. They have also been rumored to be one of the top candidates to seek a trade partner.

With the draft closely approaching, here are five last-minute Detroit Lions' rumors to know about.

Rumors that the Lions will seek a trade for Suh have been gaining steam recently. However, the possibility that Detroit will be able to find a trade partner for the Pro Bowler is unlikely. One thought is that the Lions will include Suh in a package to move up in the draft and conserve their draft selections, but Suh is due over $ 12 million in 2014 — the final year of his contract — and would be a large salary addition to a potential team.

The team that drafts Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert will get a dynamic defensive back who is also a capable punt returner. The Lions are in need of a cornerback alongside Chris Houston and invited Gilbert to their voluntary workout in late April. With so much talk about the Lions looking for a receiver in the first round, it seems unlikely that Detroit is a potential landing spot for Gilbert.

It's been no secret that the Lions are looking to trade up in the draft for one of the top talents. This year's draft is deep, and names like WR Sammy Watkins and DE/LB hybrid Khalil Mack have been mentioned at the top of the Lions' draft board. If Detroit is going to select one of these two, they will need to pay a heavy price in order to move up in the draft.

2. Lions Will Select a WR at No. 10

The Lions came to terms with former Seahawks WR Golden Tate in the offseason, but Detroit is still rumored to be interested in a WR during the first round of the draft. If they are unable to move up in the draft, look for them to target either Odell Beckham or Mike Evans at No. 10. The Lions' desire for another wide receiver is widely known. Unless it's a smokescreen, Detroit appears to be leaning toward adding a WR to join Megatron and Tate.

Matthew Stafford isn't on the hot seat in Detroit, but the Lions could be seeking insurance in case of an injury to the young QB. The Lions have more important needs than quarterback, so expect them to seek a signal caller later on in the draft. Aaron Murray, David Fales and Keith Wenning have been mentioned as possible choices for Detroit, and the idea is to develop them into quality backups and create trade value for them down the line.
