Washington Redskins Schedule 2014: Predicting the Outcome of Every Game

The Washington Redskins have quite a tough schedule ahead of them in 2014, but their main advantage is having a healthy Robert Griffin III without a brace on. They did not have a first round pick in the draft this weekend, because of the trade for their franchise QB. Hopefully that will not slow them down in 2014 though. Here is the Redskins full schedule in 16 slides, and each one includes a prediction for what the score and result will be.

16. Sept 7th at Houston Texans

This one could be kind of rough for Robert Griffin III. That is because the Texans now have not only J.J. Watt careening down on the quarterback, but also Jadeveon Clowney. That is a pretty fearsome pass rush, and that could mean trouble for the Skins' offensive line.

Texans 20 - Redskins 17

15. Sept 14th vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

This bout will give the Redskins a bit of air space to work their passing game, and that is why I think they will put up a lot of points in this one. After a stingy effort by the Texans, then this will seem like a JV practice.

Redskins 34 - Jaguars 17

14. September 21st at Philadelphia Eagles

Sweet redemption. DeSean Jackson will be looking for payback in this one against his former team, and I would look for him to have a great individual game while the Eagles end up losing at home.

Redskins 24 - Eagles 21

13. September 25th vs. New York Giants

13. September 25th vs. New York Giants

Washington will be preparing for this one with quite limited rest, and that is why I think they will fall behind quite early in this game. They will pull it close at the end, but it will not be enough.

Giants 30 - Redskins 29

12. October 6th vs. Seattle Seahawks

The defending champions will be able to lock down the Redskins with defense, but I also do not expect Russell Wilson to throw for over 300 yards. The quarterback should get the win though, and put RGIII's offense into a tailspin.

Seahawks 24 - Redskins 17

11. October 12th at Arizona Cardinals

11. October 12th at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are working with a pretty limited roster, and they probably should have drafted Johnny Manziel in all honesty. They will lose this one even though Larry Fitzgerald will probably gain over 150 receiving yards.

Redskins 35 - Cardinals 20

10. October 19th vs. Tennessee Titans

10. October 19th vs. Tennessee Titans

Washington Redskins

This will be a tight one, but I could see the Redskins squeezing away with a victory at FedEx field. Jake Locker is not the answer for the Titans, and they might even be wishing for the days of Vince Young out in Tennessee.

Redskins 27 - Titans 26

9. October 27th at Dallas Cowboys

9. October 27th at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys will be looking for a huge win at home in this one, but Jerry Jones has admitted the fear that Robert Griffin III strikes in the owner's heart at times. That fear will come to pass on the 27th.

Redskins 20- Cowboy 17

8. November 2nd at Minnesota Vikings

Adrian Peterson will go off against the Redskins, but that does not mean that the Vikings will win this game. Expect another big highlight run from RGIII especially since Jared Allen is no longer in town.

Redskins 27 - Vikings 24

7. November 16th vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

7. November 16th vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This one is at an odd place in their schedule, and so I expect it to be sloppy. With a fourteen day break the defense will be feeling healthy and the offense will be out of rhythm.

Redskins 14 - Buccaneers 7

6. November 23rd at San Francisco 49ers

6. November 23rd at San Francisco 49ers

This one could be kind of rough. Colin Kaepernick might take out some aggression at home in this game, and it could be one of the Redskins' few blowout losses during the year. All that could change with legal action towards the 49ers QB though.

49ers 27- Redskins 10

5. November 30th at Indianapolis Colts

A good old fashioned draft day rematch. RGIII got the best of Luck in round one, but the Colts QB could come out on top in round two. These two quarterbacks will always be linked, whether they like it or not.

Colts 30 - Redskins 23

4. December 7th vs. St. Louis Rams

The Sam Bradford experiment has been somewhat of a disappointment so far, and this game could end up being one of the final nails in the coffin. The Redskins also always play the Rams tough; I could see this one being close, but Washington will squeak it out.

Redskins 30- Rams 28

3. December 14th at New York Giants

Now the final division schedule starts to gear up. If the Redskins are in a position to make the playoffs, then obviously this one is crucial. I think after losing the Thursday night game against the Giants that the Redskins will find a way to edge this one out.

Redskins 14 - Giants 13

2. December 20th vs. Philadelphia Eagles

2. December 20th vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Washington Redskins

The Eagles will try to push the pace in this one, but I just think that RGIII will be feeling a nice rhythm by this time of year. The Eagles could be in for a buzzsaw.

Redskins 24 - Eagles 13

1. December 28th vs. Dallas Cowboys

This one will probably have some playoff implications, and I would not be shocked if it came down to the final play. This win will give one of the teams a shot at making something happen in the Wild Card round. My pick goes to Washington.

Redskins 30 - Cowboys 27
