The Minnesota Vikings made some significant upgrades this offseason, especially with their 10 picks during the 2014 NFL Draft. However, they could also see some significant production from their group of undrafted free agents – or UDFAs – when all is said and done this season. They put together a promising class of NFL hopefuls that could contribute earlier than expected.

Here’s a look at five UDFAs who could make the Vikings’ 53-man roster.

One of the most unheralded small-school prospects of the 2014 class, Hall has all of the tools to be a contributor at the next level. On top of ridiculous size (6’9’’, 340 pounds), he possesses above average athleticism and strength. While he certainly has more work to do before he’s ready to see significant snaps, Hall could easily earn a spot with the Vikings as a backup tackle.

WR Erik Lora

Another underrated small-school talent, Lora is the type of player you can’t help but root for. While he doesn’t possess amazing athleticism or speed, he’s a smart, technically-sound player who uses precision routes and excellent hands to hurt defenses. Lora was a reliable chain mover during his days at Eastern Illinois, and should be able to do more of the same with the Vikings.

OT Antonio Richardson

Arguably the top undrafted free agent of the 2014 class, Richardson has the skill set to be a starter in the NFL. Unfortunately, a down 2013 season and some inconsistency forced him to fall out of the draft. The Vikings, however, will benefit from his misfortunate, as they found themselves an excellent offensive tackle prospect who can steal the swing tackle job and start when he's ready.

DE Rakim Cox

Yet another small-school prospect with high upside, Cox was a disruptive pass rusher during his days at Villanova. While he still needs work as a run defender, he shows impressive upside as an edge rusher who can also contribute on special teams. Seeing as the Vikings are lacking depth at defensive end, Cox could easily earn a spot on the 53-man roster with a strong camp showing.

Once a top prospect at Florida, Leonard has since seen his stock plummet. However, the talent, athleticism and potential are all still intact. A superb athlete at the tight end spot, the Tennessee State product has the physical tools to be a stud receiver. While the Vikings aren’t exactly short at tight end, Leonard could carve a role as a No. 2 receiving threat alongside Kyle Rudolph if he fixes his off-field issues.
