The Washington Redskins recently closed rookie camp, and they even have six out of their eight draft picks signed. What is next for them? Well, they have OTAs a week from now, and here are the five biggest rumors floating around them at the moment. Most of them involve rookies getting a bit too involved in the rotations.

Morgan Moses may have the best shot at winning a starting position, but I think that three or four of the rookies could play quite a few downs for Washington next season. Going to be a bumpy ride for the newbies at times, but something tells me they will survive somehow.

By most accounts, new head coach Jay Gruden is taking a far more hands-on approach than Mike Shanahan ever did. I was not sad to see the back of Shanahan, and I believe the Skins will improve their record from last season. Let it be noted though, that they could still miss the playoffs even with a better record.

The Redskins' defense was not exactly stellar last season, and that is why the rookies could have a real shot of cracking the starting lineup. Whether Washington can win the NFC East will be partly determined by how well their draft investments end up paying off.

Their draft picks will help with this, but so will the offense. Last season, RGIII's health was obviously a limiting factor in the Skins' passing game, but it should be quite different this time around. Look for Griffin to put up Pro Bowl numbers yet again.

Isn't that the first priority for players under a new head coach? Not every one will be playing for their job, but you will also see a lot more passion on the defensive side of the ball this season.
