The Cleveland Browns enter their OTAs this week with several questions that remain unanswered. Many of these questions are speculation, but the rumors could have a major impact on Cleveland's 2014 season. Here are five of the biggest rumors for the Browns heading into OTAs.

When the Browns drafted Johnny Football, they knew the media circus would be following closely behind. With training camp on the horizon, Cleveland’s Berea-area headquarters could be the home for HBO’s “Hard Knocks” this preseason. The Browns have stated that they are going to do their best to limit the noise that comes along with Manziel, but if they’re chosen to be filmed for HBO, it will be tough to tame.

Tate’s signing in free agency denoted that the Browns would put a strong emphasis on running the football in 2014. While Tate is well-known across the NFL, he has shown flashes of becoming a star; however, injury problems have hindered him in the past. Tate’s injuries led Cleveland to trade up in the draft to select West for insurance purposes. West’s style resembles Alfred Morris, who Kyle Shanahan coached, so Tate could be battling to start.

The disgruntled Johnson has reportedly had positive talks with the Texans about being on the field for OTAs, but he hasn’t joined the team. As soon as Johnson questioned his future, many speculated where he could land – including Cleveland. While Johnson would make sense for a team that could be losing its best receiver for the season, don’t expect Johnson to end up in a Browns’ uniform after the team signed Miles Austin and Earl Bennett.

2. Johnny Manziel Will Be the Backup to Brian Hoyer

According to head coach Mike Pettine, things between Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel have been cordial thus far. He expects the competition between the two quarterbacks to be fierce, but also constructive. Manziel was told by Browns’ brass that he is the backup to Hoyer at this point, but he will be able to compete for the starting job. Look for Manziel to make a strong push to start, but also for Cleveland to exercise caution in his development.

The possibility of losing Gordon for the 2014 season was a tough pill for Browns’ fans to swallow, especially a day after a promising first round in the draft. Gordon was the league-leader in receiving yards last year, and was by far the Browns’ best skill player. For a young team on the rise, a suspension for Gordon will be a huge setback. The NFL has talked about a reduced penalty for marijuana and Cleveland is hoping Gordon won't be banned.
