Let's face it, the Browns haven't done anything relevant in quite some time. Sure, they made the NFL playoffs a few years ago but they were "one and done." With Manziel on the team and a solid draft, the Browns are looking a whole lot better than they have in a while. One better believe that ratings, TV promotions and all around team advertising will be in full effect as the Browns try to right the ship this upcoming season.

Despite the Browns committed to quarterback Brian Hoyer, Manziel is saying and doing all the right things. Since he was told he is currently going to be Hoyer's backup, Manziel will continue to learn and develop his skills as he transitions from the college football scene to the NFL.

There is a big reason why the 2014 NFL Draft drew the highest television ratings ever and we can thank Manziel for that. Even before taking a single snap in a regular season game, Manziel is already lighting up the NFL in records. His jersey sold out at the NFL's official online shop as he sold more jerseys this year than Peyton Manning, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick combined!

Manziel displays a kind of arrogance around him but don't mistake it for being obnoxious. He's a winner at heart and will do anything to make sure his team succeeds. He's accepted the fact that he might not even start a single game this year and will be learning as much as he can. During OTAs the Browns have already stated he's a quick learner and has been executing plays very well.

Many athletes will tell you that it's not easy the first year you get drafted into the NFL. It's a steep learning curve and if you're a first-round draft pick, all eyes are on you and your every little move. So far, Manziel has been very quiet and not caused any controversies or issues which bodes well in his favor. He's been making sure to truly grasp every page in the Browns' playbook to ensure he's ready when opportunity comes knocking.

Manziel is a game-changer, always has been and always will be. Once his time comes to start and begin what should be a tremendous career in the NFL, he has the potential to finally put the Browns on the map. Similar to what happened a year ago with the Kansas City Chiefs when they were at the bottom of the barrel, all you need are players that are polarizing in that they will win you games and play 110% each and every down.

Refusing to get any special treatment, Manziel just wants to play football and have the Browns win plenty of games. Everyone admires that since it's what anyone would do in that situation, even someone like him that's extremely high on the media pedestal. The football world wants to see if he lives up to the hype surrounding him and once his moment comes, he will deliver.

The Browns have over the past few years started to draft and sign top talent to keep building for the future. For years many have said all the Browns need is a superstar at quarterback and they would be in playoff contention. No offense to Hoyer but he doesn't have the skills to take the Browns to the next level like Manziel can. While it's important Manziel spends most of his time on the sidelines learning, once ready he should be unleashed.

Hoyer only has seven touchdowns in his entire five year career. What's more exciting than seeing a quarterback like Manziel do anything and everything to score touchdowns? He's done it plenty of times at Texas A&M and will have a field day in the NFL throwing touchdown passes and scoring them on the ground. Who knows, maybe his new nickname could be "Johnny Touchdowns" once he helps the Browns become an offensive juggernaut.
