With the Cincinnati Bengals opening OTAs this week, there are many storylines that will be drawing the attention of the media and fans alike. Let's take a look at the five top stories that will be dominating Queen City media.

With the first round selection of cornerback Darqueze Dennard by the Bengals, many have wondered if he will earn the starting spot opposite Leon Hall. Veteran defensive back Terence Newman has been a productive corner for the Bengals during his tenure and will not easily give up his starting position. While the two will be fighting for a starting spot, Newman's skill and knowledge of the game will prove beneficial for Dennard's growth.

When the Bengals drafted LSU running back Jeremy Hill in the second round, many thought the writing was on the wall foreshadowing the release of veteran BenJarvus Green-Ellis. While Hue Jackson has stated that Hill's selection has no impact on Green-Ellis, there are only so many plays for each running back to share the load. Will Jackson find a purpose for Green-Ellis behind Hill and Giovani Bernard or will he become an early season cut?

Last season, the Bengals saw Andrew Whitworth play both tackle and guard. While the offensive line seemed rejuvenated with their leader playing guard, it seemed as though Whitworth would return to tackle for 2014. However, the early days of OTAs have seen Whitworth back at the guard position due to injuries. The Bengals could be experimenting with moving their captain inside on the line to extend the life of his Bengals career.

After a devastating injury that cut his 2013 season short, Leon Hall will be looking to return to form once again this offseason. A healthy Hall combined with rookie cornerback Darqueze Dennard could provide the Bengals with a lethal tandem. The health of Hall would provide the Bengals with great cornerback depth (Hall, Dennard, Newman, Jones) as well.

The loss of All-Pro Geno Atkins was a big hit for the Bengals' defense. A healthy Atkins not only shores up the run defense of the Bengals, but it also helps to make up for the loss of a pass rush with the departed Michael Johnson. Arguably the best defensive tackle in the league, Atkins provides the Bengals with yet another talented weapon on the defensive side of the ball.
