Now just a few months until the beginning of the 2014 NFL season, the Denver Broncos will look to build off their Super Bowl run and take the next step by winning it all this upcoming season. OTAs are a great way to begin the process of seeing which players could step up in starting roles in order to help the team reach the Lombardi Trophy.

With that in mind, here are five storylines from the Broncos' OTAs that fans should follow.

With Chris Harris still recovering from his minor ACL injury, the Broncos could have their first-round pick in this year's draft play sooner than anticipated. Latest reports suggest that Harris is on the right track and should be ready by at worst the opener. The Broncos could also decide to place Harris in the slot corner and have Bradley Roby cover the receiver opposite the one Aqib Talib covers, especially if Roby impresses in training camp.

The middle linebacker position for the Broncos is perhaps the most intriguing one in the offseason. As of now, Nate Irving is the starter, but look for Lamin Barrow, the fifth-round pick in the draft, to push Irving for the job. If Barrow can impress during the summer, we could see another draft pick starting for the Broncos on defense.

An undrafted free agent signing, Isaiah Burse has impressed so far for the Broncos. His explosive speed gives him an edge as a kick returner, but perhaps he could earn a bigger role. If Wes Welker were to get injured in 2014, Burse could easily fill in as a slot receiver and could ultimately be Welker's replacement in the near future.

2. Depth at Running Back

We all know Montee Ball is going to be the starting running back heading into the summer. The real question is who will back him up? C.J. Anderson figures to get the nod in that category, but after him is where things could get dicey. Ronnie Hillman must improve greatly or his spot could be taken on the roster by an undrafted free agent. Brennan Clay has impressed the most so far, but look for Kapri Bibbs to make a push for a roster spot as well.

It is a shame that T.J. Ward has not even played a snap for the Broncos and he is already in trouble with the law. He was involved in a incident at a bar in which he threw a glass mug at a bartender. How Roger Goodell plans to handle that is unclear, but Ward could face some discipline from the NFL.
