The Packers draft Corey Linsley in the 2014 NFL Draft and he will be competing with J.C. Tretter. Although he didn't play a lot in his rookie season, the Packers think highly of Tretter and it will be a good competition at the center position between Linsley and Tretter. Both are intelligent football players who will be cogs on the offensive line for years to come.

Drafting Carl Bradford in the fourth round was an excellent value pick for the Packers. Coming out of Arizona State, Bradford has a great combination of versatility and athleticism. A.J. Hawk needs a competent player next to him in the middle of the defense, and Bradford is an immediate upgrade over Jones.

Although the Packers drafted Richard Rodgers in the third round, undrafted free agent Colt Lyerla may be the better of the two. Lyerla has had problems staying out of trouble with the law, but the Oregon product is a matchup nightmare. With Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball, one of these rookies will be in for a big year.

Davante Adams will miss part of OTAs, but he is a smart football player and he shouldn't have a problem learning Green Bay's playbook. Adams will be going to the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, which will keep him out of OTAs. It will be interesting to see how Adams and rookie Jared Abbrederis will blend in this offense.

Jordy Nelson's contract will be up after this season, and there is no doubt that he is the best receiver on this roster. Nelson is Rodgers' favorite target, and he is the only proven receiver on this roster who excels on the outside. Nelson makes players around him better, and the Packers will need to get him signed soon. Getting a deal done with Nelson sooner rather than later would increase their chances of re-signing him.
