It’s hard to figure out guys like Marshawn Lynch. The Seattle Seahawks‘ running back is one of the best in the NFL and he’s also one of the quietest guys out there. He just doesn’t like talking to the media or in front of many people. That’s what’s so surprising about his decision to make a movie starring himself.
He likes to let other people talk for him during interview — like he did during all the Super Bowl media attention. With the talent that Lynch has and always being on the big stage in front of the NFL’s loudest fans, you would think he wouldn’t be so shy.
In fact, he didn’t address the media all season long in 2013, but only did during the Super Bowl because he would be fined if he didn’t.
Not sure why he’s so shy toward the media, but maybe he just doesn’t want his words twisted.
According to SI.com, Lynch is excited about the opportunity to play the role of himself in the film titled Family First. It’s a story of Lynch’s life and the journey he made from the Oakland to the NFL and how he has become one of the best at what he does.
Proof that Lynch isn’t nervous about being on camera, he had this to say:
“I’m more than ready to play myself. I got the acting bug when I played a small role in Matt’s Chance starring Gary Busey. I definitely want to expand my opportunities after football. I’ve also been on a couple TV shows, so I’m not nervous.”
There you have it, folks. Lynch just flat-out hates the media.
