After a huge offseason, the New Orleans Saints look to have built an army on defense. Their secondary looks to be one of the NFL's best. Organized team activities are beginning to kick off, so that means it is time to start making predictions. Let's take a look at who will lead the Black and Gold in interceptions in 2014.

Saints rookie CB Jean-Baptiste, like Richard Sherman, is a 6-foot-3 converted wide receiver with shutdown potential. I'm not saying he will be as good as Sherman, but their measurables do compare. I expect Jean-Baptiste to make a pretty quick impact on defense. He looks to be third on the depth chart, if he can beat Patrick Robinson and Corey White to the punch.

The Saints made a big splash in the free agent market and 12-time Pro Bowl CB Champ Bailey is one of the team's new faces. With age, Bailey has certainly lost a step or two, but he should be on the starting depth chart heading into the new year. If he can stay healthy for a majority of the season, he's still got the ability to be a big factor on defense.

The second-year safety out of Texas had a big rookie season in 2013. Kenny Vaccaro is a quick, explosive, versatile athlete with the ability to stretch the field from sideline to sideline. Look for him to have a breakout campaign in 2014. He's got the potential to be one the NFL's top safeties. I expect a huge year from Vaccaro.

Since entering the NFL in 2009, Byrd leads the league in interceptions (22) by a free safety. He will likely have another big year with his new team in New Orleans. The way the Saints defense is able to install pressure can cause opposing quarterbacks to make throwing errors. As a ball hawk, Byrd lives off of those mistakes.

Keenan Lewis emerged as one the league's top shutdown corners in 2013. He flew under the radar for most of the season as the Saints' No. 2 corner, but with the departure of Jabari Greer, Lewis looks to have a breakout year. He totaled four picks last year, but I expect that number to increase as the team's No. 1 corner.
