No team will present quite the media frenzy that the Houston Texans have the potential to in the NFL in the upcoming season. Even amidst the atrocity that was the team’s 2013 season, the Texans had plenty of top tier players on both sides of the ball. This season, Houston has its stars back with the addition of some key players. The storylines developed in the offseason will be a determining factor for the team's success moving forward.

With Ben Tate gone and a new quarterback, the Texans' offense will look completely different in 2014. Arian Foster proved last year that he can’t carry the full load because of his injury aptitude. If Andre Johnson holds out, this offense could be in big trouble.

Johnson is easily one of the best wideouts in the game. He has been so consistent and reliable over the span of his career. He wants to win now, and it will be interesting to see how or if the Texans accommodate him.

Penn State had a good season last year and most of that was due to O’Brien. The first-year coach has his work cut out for him as he lacks a starting quarterback, a backup to his injury-prone star runner and may be without his best offensive weapon.

Is Tom Savage good enough to start? He has a great name, but how great is his game? This team is built to win now, and starting a rookie quarterback isn’t the strongest indicator of a will to win immediately. I expect the Texans to sign another signal-caller before the start of the season.

There is no doubt Clowney is the best defensive player in this draft class. He is one of the highest rated players to come out of college but most of that is based on his physical traits. He wasn’t asked to do many different things at South Carolina, so it needs to be seen how well he will adapt to the NFL.
