The 2014 season is expected to be a big one for the San Francisco 49ers. This season, the 49ers will have an arsenal of weapons on both sides of the ball, and the sky's the limit for them as a team. Here are five bold predictions for the 49ers' season.

5. Anquan Boldin & Michael Crabtree will both have over 1,000 yards receiving

With Crabtree being fully healthy and entering a contract season, he will be motivated to produce. Boldin will continue to pad his Hall-of-Fame resume and try his hand at another 1,000-yard season. These two receivers are more than capable of accomplishing this feat.

4. Jimmie Ward Will Become a Starter By The End Of the Season

As uncertainty continues to loom over the San Francisco 49ers' secondary, a lot could be expected of Jimmie Ward when he regains his health. Chris Culliver is battling off-field issues, and he isn't that reliable on the field either. Tramaine Brock is consistent, but Eric Wright may not be answer at the other cornerback spot. Ward's versatility make put him in the lineup as a starting cornerback by the end of the season.

3. Vernon Davis will quiet contract complaints

Vernon Davis has been upset about his current contract, and did not attend the team's OTAs. I honestly feel that Davis will have a change of heart pretty soon. Davis has been a highly-paid player at his position since entering the NFL, so I don't envision him complaining too much longer.

2. Colin Kaepernick will emerge as MVP candidate

Colin Kaepernick is entering his second full year as the starting quarterback for the 49ers, and he has more weapons than he has ever had before. From Frank Gore all the way down to Stevie Johnson, Kaepernick has no excuse not to put up insane numbers this season.

The 49ers are entering their fourth year with Jim Harbaugh, and the team has suffered three heartbreaking defeats in the last three playoff appearances. The 49ers have a loaded team on both sides of the ball and have the luxury of playing in the toughest division in the NFL, so if they make it out of their conference healthy, there shouldn't be any reason for the 49ers not to hoist the Lombardi trophy.
