The San Francisco 49ers have goals of making it to the Super Bowl and bringing home the Lombardi trophy this season. Despite the 49ers having a potent roster, there are a few red flags entering the 2014 season. Here is a list of five of the biggest.

Tramaine Brock had a great season last year, but with the loss of Tarrell Brown, Carlos Rogers, and the unexpected retirement of Eric Wright, someone needs to step up at the cornerback position. All eyes will be on Chris Culliver & co. to see who emerges from the team's weakest link.

Alex Boone has yet to participate in offseason activities, and Mike Iupati is entering a contract season. There is a lot of pressure to produce, and with that looming over the team's top two guards, it creates some uncertainty. As of now, the interior part of the offensive line has many question marks, unlike the past few seasons.

Aldon Smith has been a part of all offseason activities, but it is unknown if he will be getting suspended for any games this season. Smith's off-field issues last season could put a damper on the 49ers entering 2014.

Filling in the shoes of an All-Pro performer is easier said than done. Navorro Bowman was arguably the best linebacker last year in the NFL, and it will be tough to find a player who can match half of his impact. As of now, Michael Wilhoite is in that position, and rookies Chris Borland and Shayne Skov will look to compete as well. Bowman's impact was huge, and it will be vital to find a reliable replacement.

Trent Baalke the San Francisco 49ers GM has his hands full at this point. There are many key players who are in need of contracts, and there are some players who are under contract complaining that they want more money. It will be impossible to please everyone, and it will be up to Baalke to finagle some deals to keep everyone pleased. Good luck with that, Mr. Baalke.
