The Miami Dolphins are coming off of a tumultuous 2013 season where most of their headlines came from incidents that happened off the field. They are looking to bounce back this season. With so many eyes on the Dolphins, some of them have to take some major steps forward in their development. These five are facing make-or-break seasons.

While Ryan Tannehill isn't going to lose his job, he does have to start looking like a top flight QB if he is going to escape the comparisons to his draft mates. He has yet to lead his team to the playoffs despite the team spending big money on weapons. The offensive line let him down in more ways than one last season, so that should be fixed this year.

Mike Wallace was the Dolphins' big-money acquisition last season. They spent a lot of money to take him away from Pittsburgh. You expect greatness when the player has over a $17 million dollar cap hit. That is what Wallace has in 2014. He needs to be elite for him to live up to that contract.

There were rumors running rampant this offseason that the Dolphins were looking at offers to move Dion Jordan. The former third-overall pick has not grown as fast as Miami had hoped. After all the rumors, Jordan is still a Dolphin. He needs to show that they made the right choice in keeping him.

Knowshon Moreno is now dealing with a left knee injury. He already had an uphill climb to show the Denver Broncos that they made a mistake by letting him go. He needs to show that he was more than just a piece to the Peyton Manning puzzle. At this point, he looks pretty replaceable.

Cortland Finnegan is looking to remake his image in Miami. He wants to show he is still a serviceable cornerback in this market. He will get that chance next to Brent Grimes, but must deliver or could be at risk of getting the ax from the Dolphins.
