The Green Bay Packers have made several quality offseason additions that should help them reach their ultimate goal of winning the Super Bowl in 2014. At this point, it’s just a matter of figuring out which additions will have the biggest impact this season. Here’s a look at Green Bay’s five offseason additions with the most to offer.

Wide receiver Jared Abbrederis out of Wisconsin may not play a big role right out of the gate, but he definitely has plenty to offer as far as his skill set is concerned. Abbrederis is expected to make his impact on special teams in 2014. However, don’t be surprised if the steal of the draft for the Packers lights it up on the field when given the opportunity.

Wide receiver Davante Adams, who Green Bay drafted in the second round, should have a lot to offer in his rookie season. Already known as James Jones version 2.0, Adams has the ability to catch everything thrown his way, while his route-running skills will provide many chances for yards after the catch. He will compete for the fourth spot on the depth chart at his position.

The Packers have to be thrilled to sign defensive tackle Letroy Guion for under million, especially since he’s primed to have a huge impact for the team this year. Guion is going to be a force to be reckoned with off the bench, which is something Green Bay needs along the defensive line. Even though he failed to blow anyone away in Minnesota, he has the capability to make a name for himself with the Packers.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has plenty to offer in 2014, especially since there’s a good chance he will be in the starting lineup at safety. At this point, it’s his job to lose. As long as he continues to progress, he should be ready to have an impact right out of the gate. His ability to tackle in the open field and create turnovers will be the edge the Packers need in the secondary to get them to the Super Bowl.

Some are unsure about Julius Peppers lining up at outside linebacker. However, I’m convinced that the elite pass rusher is going to have the most to offer no matter where he lines up on defense. I’m not sure if fans have yet to fully grasp how fortunate the Packers are to land him, but he will be the difference maker on a team that will go from getting knocked out of the playoffs early to going all the way.
