The Denver Broncos have been down this road before. The team has won three straight AFC West titles, and will be looking to win its fourth straight in 2014 while looking to win the Super Bowl. It always seems that the Broncos get better with every year, and this one looks to be no different.

With that in mind, here are five reasons why I believe the Broncos will win the AFC West for the fourth straight year.

Despite the fact that Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno left via free agency in the offseason, the Broncos locked up Emmanuel Sanders who is a deep threat, and have handed the reins over to Montee Ball, who could be a bruiser that can improve with time.

Ever since John Fox took over as the head coach, the Broncos have won the AFC West Division every year. While they will get some competition from the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers, history is on the Broncos' side.

The Broncos have a really difficult schedule this year, especially in their first eight games as they have to square off against the challenging NFC West, as well as the New England Patriots and their division. But no matter how difficult the challenge, the Broncos have always found a way to come out on top. This is a chance to prove that they are not just the class of the AFC, but the NFL.

The defense had its weak moments during the 2013 season, and John Elway wasted no time in pursuing the best. He was able to sign Demarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, and T.J. Ward in free agency, and added Bradley Roby, Lamin Barrow and Corey Nelson in the draft. If the Broncos' defense can stay healthy, this unit can definitely win a few games for the team.

Future HOF quarterback Peyton Manning has really helped bring the Broncos back to dominance in the last couple of years, and has helped the team emerge as a Super Bowl contender. Even with his age, it's hard to doubt Manning at this point as he will be motivated to lead the team to another division title in the tail-end of his career.
