The Cincinnati Bengals finished with a 11-win season in 2013, but it was a huge disappointment for a team that continually falls short of the Super Bowl. The talent is there, but the Bengals need to work out how to take it to the next level. Several important questions must be answered during training camp if Cincinnati wants a trophy in 2014.

Quarterback Andy Dalton could go one week throwing five touchdowns, but he could also follow up that performance with zero touchdown passes and three interceptions. The Bengals need to establish consistency on offense, and with backup A.J. McCarron raring to go, Dalton will need to fine-tune his performances if he doesn't want to be a free agent in 2015.

Giovani Bernard will supposedly be more involved in the passing attack this year, so that means BenJarvus Green-Ellis will compete with rookie Jeremy Hill for the workhorse role. Green-Ellis saw 220 touches last year, but he only averaged 3.4 yards per carry and finished the year with mediocre numbers. He will need to turn things up in training camp if he wants a bigger role in the offense.

There hasn't been much news on how Geno Atkins is recovering from his ACL surgery, but the Bengals need to have a game plan in place if Atkins can't start in Week 1. He was a dominant force in 2012 with 12.5 sacks, and he was on pace for similar numbers in 2013. The Bengals will face some high-powered offenses this year, so the future health of Atkins is very important.

Wide receiver Marvin Jones exploded onto the scene in 2013 with his 10 touchdown catches, but can he improve on his performance in 2014? The Bengals are reportedly looking to throw the ball less in the upcoming season, which means A.J. Green's teammates will need to help take the pressure off of him when Dalton does throw the ball. Can Jones improve his numbers from 2013, or was last year's numbers just a product of a pass-heavy attack?

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Eifert was considered underutilized in 2013. Other will say that he was able to learn the system while not being overwhelmed in his first year with the Bengals, but the reports on how he will be used has varied. It seems that the Bengals will continue to use both Eifert and Jermaine Gresham, but Eifert is the tight end of the future, and the Bengals should put more on his shoulders to see if he can handle it.
