Buffalo Bills: 5 Dark Horse Candidates to Make 53-Man Roster

The Buffalo Bills are a team on the rise, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t holes on the roster. As a result of these holes, some players nobody thought had a shot at a roster spot could end up making the team when it's all said and done. With that said, here are five dark horse candidates to make the Bills' 53-man roster.

A massive, athletic tackle who fell in the draft due to character and work ethic concerns, Seantrel Henderson has impressed his new coaches in Buffalo. Henderson is apparently working harder than ever, and it’s not crazy to think he could end up backing up Cordy Glenn at left tackle.

Easily the most athletic tight end on Buffalo’s roster, Chris Gragg didn’t make much of an impact in 2013, but he looks like he deserves to remain on the roster for 2014. Gragg has another year of experience under his belt, and the Bills need to keep him around and give him a chance to shine.

A versatile, powerful player, Evan Rodriguez looks like he could be in line for a surprise roster spot. Yes, this would mean the Bills have two fullbacks on the roster, but Rodriguez is worth it.

Undrafted coming out of college in 2012, Ikponmwosa Igbinosun has yet to make much of an impact so far in the NFL, however he’s still quite talented. I expect Igbinosun to make the Bills' roster and continue to confuse analysts everywhere with his name.

Can someone please explain to me why Chris Hogan has yet to get much meaningful action in the regular season? Every offseason the man goes out and makes headlines with his play, yet he continues to be overlooked. He’s once again on the roster bubble, but Hogan should stay with the Bills. He’s too talented to let go.
