Denver Broncos 2014: One Team Denver Needs to Look Out for in the Regular Season
The Denver Broncos have a brutal schedule upcoming in the 2014 season. In Week 11, the Broncos will be at the St. Louis Rams. Forget about games against the Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals and even the New England Patriots.
The game that Broncos fans will not realize its importance is in St. Louis. There will be a three-way battle for home-field advantage in the AFC between Denver, New England and Indianapolis.
Denver should take care of their schedule against AFC West opponents, with the exception of their game at the San Diego Chargers. The game that can decide AFC home-field advantage is against the Rams.
St. Louis is loaded with young talent on offense. They have Sam Bradford who, if he remains healthy, is a good quarterback. Tavon Austin is a threat as a wide receiver and on special teams. The Rams have a good running back in Zac Stacy. Also, St. Louis may have the best front four on defense in the league.
Denver’s NFC schedule is scary with an expected loss at the Seahawks and a possible loss at home against the 49ers. The Broncos should be able to beat the Arizona Cardinals at home.
With the AFC’s top seed at stake, Denver must take care of business against St. Louis. Everyone is talking about Seattle and San Francisco as the top teams in the NFC West. However, the Rams are very capable of taking the NFC West and going deep into the playoffs. Denver fans, watch out for the Rams.
