It's a brand new season in the NFL, and despite coming off of their first Super Bowl Championship in franchise history, the Seattle Seahawks look better than ever. They started their training camp on July 25 and it will end August 12. That isn't much time for coaches to evaluate their new faces, which should make for some intriguing competition. Here are five bold predictions for Seattle's 2014 Training Camp.

5. Anthony McCoy Will Win the No. 2 Tight End Job

Last season, tight end Anthony McCoy was lost before the regular season even began. That left rookie Luke Willson as the primary No. 2 tight end behind starter Zack Miller. This year, however, McCoy will look to re-establish himself as the Seahawks tight end of the future. If he is fully recovered from his season-ending achilles injury, McCoy should suprass Willson as Seattle's No. 2 tight end.

The Seahawks should have plenty of training camp competition throughout their linebacker core. Last year, Bruce Irvin and Malcolm Smith split time at the strong-side linebacker position. While Irvin was deemed the starter, it was actually Smith that made a bigger impact for Seattle, as his Super Bowl MVP status might indicate. That could leave Irvin headed back to the LEO position, allowing Smith to start all year on the strong-side.

3. Michael Bowie Will Win the Starting Right Tackle Job...Initially

Many Seahawks fans believe rookie offensive lineman Justin Britt will be the opening day starter at right tackle. While he was certainly drafted to be the team's bookend tackle opposite Russell Okung, Britt may not be ready for that role right away. If that is the case, Michael Bowie will likely end up replacing Breno Giacomini at the right tackle spot in Seattle, at least initially.

2. A Starting Linebacker Will Be Placed On the Trading Block

Seattle's linebackers have been truly special over the past two seasons with Bobby Wagner leading the way. Unfortunately, after spending a lot of money to retain key players like Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman this offseason, Seattle may not have the salary cap room to re-sign K.J. Wright after 2014. That could put him on the trading block, depending on whether or not Seattle views him as necessary for another possible Super Bowl-run this year.

The opening days of Seahawks Training Camp have been intriguing to say the least. With starting RB Marshawn Lynch holding out for more money, Seattle is getting an extended look at fellow backs Christine Michael and Robert Turbin. Of course, Seattle would love to get the Beast Mode back, but they won't mortgage the future for him. After all, they've already drafted his replacements in Michael and Turbin, and can't afford to spend more this year.
