NFL Hall of Famer Blasts Johnny Manziel

Not everyone is a fan of Johnny Manziel. His lifestyle rubs some people the wrong way, while others just don’t think he’ll be any good in the NFL. The rookie QB has had a bit of a rocky start to his career with the Cleveland Browns, as some are questioning his dedication to football. Many fans are wondering when/if he’ll ever grow up.

One man with an interesting take on Manziel is Buffalo Bills‘ great Andre Reed. The Hall of Fame wide receiver recently spoke to New York Magazine on the subject of Bon Jovi and the Bills. The rock star is rumored to be interested in buying the franchise, and possibly in moving it to Toronto.

The name of the piece in NYM is entitled: ‘Jon Bon Jovi Is the Most Hated Man in Buffalo.’ In it, Reed has some great quotes.

“Man, *!@# Bon Jovi! You might as well just take this city, throw it in the river, and let it go down Niagara Falls,” said Reed.

The other gem was in regards to Manziel (as Reed saw something about the QB calling LeBron James his guy):

“Who the !@#$ is Johnny Manziel? LeBron ain’t your guy! You’re not ‘Johnny Football.’ You’re ‘Johnny Rookie B*#@$.’”

Reed thinks the people of Buffalo would not accept his antics: “They’d boo that mother****** outta here. The fans would put him in his place.”

That second part about Manziel is debatable. But it’s hard to argue the first part.
