The NFL preseason officially begins tonight with a matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants in Canton, Ohio. Both the Bills and the Giants made some key adjustments this offseason and fans will have an opportunity to see a snippet of these differences tonight.

Without further to do, here are five bold predictions for the 2014 Hall of Fame Game.

The Buffalo Bills moved up in the 2014 draft to make sure that their franchise quarterback had a No. 1 option at wide receiver this year. Now it is time for him to produce. Manuel has reportedly shown a number of improvements from his rookie season and is ready to make the Bills a contender once again. Tonight will be his first opportunity to showcase his improvements and it should be expected that he will not disappoint.

Coming off a solid 2013 season, Jennings will have his first opportunity to be the clear-cut featured back in his NFL career. He has reportedly played well during training camp and has boasted some confidence during interviews this summer as well. Jennings likely will not see a ton of snaps due to the fact that this is a preseason game, but he should receive enough carries to establish himself as the definitive No. 1 running back in New York.

3. Fred Jackson Outplays C.J. Spiller

The Bills drafted Spiller back in 2010 to be the successor to Jackson. While Spiller has shown flashes of being a top-notch NFL running back, he has yet to consistently shine. However, it was Jackson, not Spiller, who recently signed a contract extension with the team. Expect Jackson to outplay Spiller tonight and for the trade winds concerning Spiller to begin swirling even faster.

2. Sammy Watkins Scores a Touchdown

2. Sammy Watkins Scores a Touchdown

The Bills gave up a pretty penny to select Watkins during the 2014 NFL Draft and he has proven his worth thus far. Watkins has exhibited both a strong work ethic and superior athleticism in his short time as a member of the Bills. Expect Watkins to be the No. 1 target for Manuel tonight and be the recipient of his first professional touchdown.

1. Giants Win Game

While this game is mostly a celebration about the beginning of a brand new NFL season, the teams involved will be looking to build on what they have been working on this offseason. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin will be business as usual and, as a result, will expect a win from his team, no matter how meaningless of a win it may be. Sammy Watkins may steal the show, but the Giants will steal the game.

Welcome Back NFL.
