The Indianapolis Colts have much to prove this season following a divisional playoff loss to the New England Patriots last year, but what are some things to watch in training camp? Here are my five predictions.

5. Andrew Luck will have an axe to grind

Which Luck will show up for the regular season? The one that appeared poised and confident in a come-from-behind 45-44 playoff win over the Kansas City Chiefs, or the one that appeared lost in a blowout loss to the New England Patriots? The smart money is on the former. Luck has something to prove.

4. Reggie Wayne should bounce back

Wayne's absence due to a torn ACL last season sent the Colts spiraling downhill. Although Indianapolis made the postseason, Wayne's absence from games was felt more and more as the season progressed. He was clearly the No. 1 WR option, and has so much to prove now that doubters think he can't make it back from a knee injury.

3. Defensive line will get better

With players like Josh Chapman spending extra time getting better in the offseason, the Colts should be much better on defense. indianapolis gave up approximately 136 yards rushing per game last year, which was close to the bottom in the NFL. The Colts should reduce the run yardage and help protect Luck.

2. Trent Richardson will get more time to prove himself

When he came over a few games into last season, Trent Richardson didn't get a lot of time to prove himself, although much was expected. Richardson turned out to be ineffective, but he will get a longer leash because of Donald Brown's departure and Vick Ballard's injury.

1. Indianapolis will look good enough to be AFC South favorites

With Jacksonville starting over, plus the continued struggles of the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans, The Colts should establish themselves as division favorites at training camp. The question is how the team will look. Will they be good enough to make a deep playoff run?
