The Rams -- like every other NFL team -- have a fair amount of question marks to answer during 2014 training camp. The team has a ton of talent, but needs a few scenarios to play out in their favor. Here is a look at five bold predictions that will play out during the preseason.

The Rams made a somewhat puzzling move during the 2014 NFL draft by taking RB Tre Mason in the third-round out of Auburn. Zac Stacy had a great rookie campaign in 2013 and will be the starter heading into the season. However, despite the fact that Mason is currently listed as the fourth-string RB on the depth chart, expect him to take away carries from Stacy in 2014.

The wide receiver has never been a big part of the Rams' offense since his arrival in 2012. However, he showed potential in 2013 by accumulating 302 yards in just 18 catches, which was good for a stellar 16.8 yards per reception average. Quick could cement a role above Chris Givens on the depth chart.

The defensive tackle will have every opportunity to prove he was worth a first-round draft pick in 2014 playing sandwiched in between the explosive pass-rushing DE combo of Robert Quinn and Chris Long. Placing a huge amount of hype on a rookie is typically a recipe for disaster, however; in Donald's case, it is fair to assume he becomes a dominant force up the middle considering the talent around him.

The Rams desperately need a leader to emerge out of their young secondary, and it might just have to be second-year safety T.J. McDonald. McDonald had a solid rookie campaign in 2013 and heads into the 2014 season with some hype as a breakout candidate. The Rams' corners are not overly experienced and would be served well to focus on covering while McDonald calls the shots in center field.

The former Auburn standout tackle made it no secret he was frustrated with the Rams' decision to move him to left-guard and struggled with the switch to start his time in St. Louis. Reports indicate Robinson is beginning to transition -- but if his heart isn't sold on it -- the Rams could see this schism bleed into the regular season.
