Denver Broncos Training Camp: 5 Players on the Roster Bubble

Training camp is in full swing for the Denver Broncos. They held their first scrimmage over the weekend and set their sites on their first preseason game of the season in a rematch with the Seattle Seahawks. This will be the first chance for some players to impress the coaching staff in hopes they can earn a spot on the roster.

Here are five players that are going into preseason on the roster bubble.

Miller is a player who is unlucky enough to be behind top tier talent on the roster. There is a chance he can make some solid plays, but will unlikely turn out and be cut by the team most likely towards the end of this month.

With the Broncos trying to create the best defense for the job, Larsen is unfortunately behind three talented defensive tackles on the roster. When you are behind Sylvester Williams and Kevin Vickerson, things does not always end well. Look for Larsen to make a strong case, but end up become dead weight.

3. Chase Vaughn, DE

I have him on this list because of how Kenny Anunike has performed during training camp. Had both of these players been on the same level, I would assume it is anyone's chance. Vaughn most likely won't get cut until final roster cuts in September, so he has a chance to shine, but I don't see it happening.

2. Bennie Fowler, WR

Fowler is an UDFA from Michigan State and he definitely has the skills to be a great player in the league. The only issue is that the Broncos' wideout roster is completely stacked. Unless Fowler can prove himself in the preseason, he will most likely be a casualty to a loaded roster of talent.

The only reason I can see him becoming a casualty is in due part to the roster trim. With so much talent surrounding Peyton Manning, it would make sense for the Broncos to only keep two quarterbacks on the final roster. If the Broncos decide to go this route, look for Dysert to unfortunately be cut.
