With one week down and three more to go of exhibition football, the New Orleans Saints will be doing their best at finding who does and does not belong on the final roster. With that in mind, let's take a look for five players who are on the roster bubble heading into the second week of the 2014 NFL Preseason.

Many people, including myself, believe Uko has a real shot at making the final 53-man roster as an undrafted rookie. He has intriguing upside as a pass rusher, but an unproductive performance last week may have slightly hurt his chances. The defensive ends played well in St. Louis, but Uko was not one of them. For now, and probably the rest of the preseason, he will be on the bubble.

Fifth-round pick Vinnie Sunseri and undrafted rookie Pierre Warren are both off to a great start. After Kenny Vaccaro, Jairus Byrd and Rafael Bush, the fourth and likely final safety spot is up for grabs. It can go either way for Marcus Ball, but he's definitely on the hot seat.

3. CB Rod Sweeting

Everybody has a physical breakdown from time to time on the football field, but the last thing coach Sean Payton wants to see is mental errors. That is the No. 1 thing he looks at. Sweeting had several mistakes against the St. Louis Rams last week. He better have a strong finish to the preseason, because he is definitely sitting on the bubble right now. But the cornerback position is still for the taking, so he's got a shot.

2. QB Luke McCown

The emergence of QB Ryan Griffin puts Luke McCown in a tough position. Griffin is now the favorite to win the backup job to Drew Brees after a solid start to training camp and preseason, but McCown is still a possibility. He just needs to find a way out of the hole he's in at the moment.

With UDFAs like Brandon Coleman and Seantavius Jones, Toon could be in a bit of trouble. While I have faith in the Saints' 2012 fourth-round pick, he's going to need to step it up in Week 2 if he wishes to secure a spot on the 53-man roster. Patience is running low in the Big Easy. It's going to be tough for coaches to leave him out, but it could happen.
