On Saturday, the Jets will travel to Cincinnati in a rematch of last year's Week 8 blowout. Cincinnati looks to improve its special teams play and quarterbacking this week, as the Chiefs scored two defensive touchdowns and one touchdown on special teams. In Cincinnati's 39-41 loss to the Chiefs, it was evident that the defense was not as bad as the score indicated; however, Paul Guenther would still like to work on implementing his new defense.

When Rey Maualuga went down with a knee injury last November, Vincent Rey stormed onto the scene and stole the show. As a temporary starter in Maualuga's absence, Rey shined, eventually recording 57 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 1 defensive touchdown. The Bengals' linebacking situation is unclear behind Vontaze Burfict, but it is possible that Vincent Rey could start alongside either Maualuga or Emmanuel Lamur. It's Rey's time to shine.

Marvin Lewis has already said that Dennard is the most impressive rookie corner he's ever coached, which is an impressive statement given that Lewis has coached Pro Bowler Jonathan Joseph and numerous other impressive rookie corners since 1992. Dennard has the best hands out of the Bengals cornerbacks, and he is already the best cover corner on the team. This week, Dennard looks to outdo last week's performance in which he registered a sack.

Bengals fans have been excited about Hill's potential since he was selected in the second round of this year's draft. Although running back wasn't exactly a major need for the Bengals, it is evident why Cincinnati chose Hilll; he has the most upside of any running back in this year's draft class. Hill's only question mark is his behavior off the field. Bengals fans were ecstatic after seeing Hill rush for 36 yards on only 6 carries.

Although it is a shame for any player to get injured, Marvin Jones and the Bengals are fortunate; they are happy that Jones will be able to return this season. However, this preseason game will give young guns such as Cobi Hamilton and Ryan Whalen the opportunity to try and earn a spot on the roster, and it will push veterans like Mohammad Sanu, Dane Sanzenbacher, and Brandon Tate to improve, as well as to mentor the younger receivers.

Matt Scott suddenly gained popularity last week, after throwing up on the field and throwing a touchdown pass minutes later. Although this moment was really the only reason why most people have been talking about Matt Scott, the former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback completed 7 out of 11 passes against the Chiefs, posting a passer rating of 119.7. Bengals fans are excited to see what Scott can accomplish this week against the New York Jets.
