Coming off a lackluster Week 1 performance in his first NFL game at linebacker, Shea McClellin is on the verge of becoming a bust in the NFL. McClellin will need to make some major strides in his game this week if he hopes to see the field in 2014.

In the battle for the backup QB spot, Clausen played better than Jordan Palmer in Week 1. This week Clausen will get his shot with the second team guys against a poor Jacksonville defense. If Clausen can show good decision making and a command of the offense this week, he can seal up the backup QB spot.

3. Chris Conte, S

The Bears have yet to confirm if Conte will make his season debut this week, though if he does see time on the field his performance will be one of the must scrutinized of the week. Coming off an awful 2013 campaign, Conte is in jeopardy of losing his starting role on the team if his play does not come around quickly.

After sitting out the Bears' first preseason game for the birth of his daughter, Allen should make his Bears debut against the Jaguars. Facing off against a struggling offense, it should be easy for Allen to show what he has left in the tank in the few plays he's expected to play. The Bears will lean heavily on him to produce as the regular season gets underway.

Fresh off his recent suspension from the team, Bennett will need to let his play do the talking this week. If he can put on a bit of a show, much like his replacement Zach Miller did in Week 1, Bennett will be able to erase some of the doubt people have about his attitude problems. Bennett figures to be an integral part of the Bears' high powered passing attack in 2014.
