After winning their first preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 21-16, the Denver Broncos will travel to Santa Clara, California to go up against the San Francisco 49ers. During this game, the Broncos will take a deeper look at what they have on the roster and give some players a chance to show what they can bring.

Here are my five Broncos players who fans should watch this Sunday.

5. Emmanuel Sanders

Thanks in part to Richard Sherman, the team did not get to see a whole lot of Emmanuel Sanders. He will be making the roster without a doubt. Depending on how many series that he gets to play, fans hope to see a bit more from him and the playmaking abilities that led to the team signing him in the offseason.

4. Juwan Thompson

Most fans impressed with how Juwan Thompson did in the first preseason game. With C.J. Anderson still not cleared to return to practice, other running backs will get a chance to shine. We should all keep a close eye on Thompson and see if he can repeat his performance.

3. Jordan Norwood

Jordan Norwood was instrumental in helping the Broncos win their preseason opener as he caught Brock Osweiler's pass for the game-winning touchdown. Putting that play aside, Norwood has performed fairly well, and it should be interesting to see if he continues that in the second preseason game.

2. Brock Osweiler

The fact that Brock Osweiler bounced back from an interception to lead the team down the field and score was quite remarkable. The future seems bright for the Broncos with Osweiler under center. Fans are hoping to see more of the young quarterback in Week 2 in hopes that he can continue to impress.

Earlier this week, Danny Trevathan suffered a fracture in his knee and will be forced to miss 6-8 weeks. This means that his backup, Brandon Marshall, needs to step up in a huge way. Marshall did show some promise last season, and fans will be watching to see if the team can cope without Trevathan.
