The New York Jets came away with a win in their first preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts, but they still have a lot of questions that need answers. Who is the No. 2 wide receiver? Is Geno Smith going to remain the starter? How will the Jets' secondary respond to injuries? Check out these five players who need to step up and answer some of those questions.

Vick had a solid showing in his first preseason game with the New York Jets. He showed some quickness, some arm strength and that there is still a place for him in the NFL. The question remains, does Vick have a chance to be the No. 1 guy? Even though Vick has been humble, it's obvious that he wants another chance to play again. If he continues to play well then Vick will make it a hard QB decision for Rex Ryan and the front office.

Hill may be one of the best Jets on the practice field, but he tends to fall off when the lights turn on. We know that Hill has the size, speed and all of the attributes that you would want in an NFL receiver, but none of that matters if you can't prove yourself on the field. Hill needs to step up and claim the No. 2 WR spot that is open for the taking.

Out of all of the Jets on the field in the Week 1 victory, Edds made the best impression. He was injured at one point, left the field with what looked like a broken finger, came back on and continued to play well. Stephen Hill should take some notes from Edds who played his best when he had an opportunity to prove it to the coaches. Edds plays with heart, and if he continues to do that he will find himself with a role on the Jets.

Patterson has gone from the No. 2 CB on the Jets to one of the team's biggest question marks. Let's face it; he looked lost out there on the field against the Colts, and he didn't look like the veteran cornerback that the Jets thought he was. It's too soon to write Patterson off and call him a bust, but he needs to find his way quickly or he may be parked on the bench.

All eyes will be on Allen when he goes head to head with WR A.J. Green. Allen was a safety, the Jets converted him to a corner and now he is getting a chance to play corner for the first time. Not only is he playing corner, but he is the No. 1 CB on the Jets right now which should say something about the team's current state at the position. The Jets desperately need Allen to play well; let's see if he delivers.
