In Week 1 of the 2014 NFL preseason, the Dallas Cowboys had 27 inactive players, and it became very evident as the game progressed.

Heading into Week 2, however, the Cowboys will be getting some reinforcements.

So, here are my top five Cowboys to watch in their Week 2 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

Morris Claiborne, CB, Dallas Cowboys

This will be the first real-game action that Morris Claiborne has seen this season. I want to see how, and if, he’s progressed at all. It’s been hard to gauge his progress because he’s always nicked up and has already missed a considerable amount of time due to injury. It’s now or never for Claiborne.

Tyrone Crawford, DE, Dallas Cowboys

In Week 1, the Cowboys’ defense couldn’t generate any type of a pass-rush, and although they’re still not completely healthy, I expected a lot more out of Tyrone Crawford than he showed. In Week 2, I need to see that he can, in fact, rush the passer.

DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have invested a lot of resources into the offensive line, and as of Week 1, at least the starters, look like they might be the real deal. I’ve always thought that DeMarco Murray should be used more in the Cowboys offense, so I want to see what he can do behind those maulers.

Anthony Hitchens, LB, Dallas Cowboys

After an impressive showing in Week 1 of the preseason at weak-side linebacker, I want to see Anthony Hitchens continue that in Week 2. He led the team with four run stops and received an overall grade of +1.5 from PFF.

Tony Romo, QB, Dallas Cowboys

For obvious reasons, everyone will be watching Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. We all want to see how, and if, his surgically repaired back will hold up.
