This season the Jets have a lot of players with the potential to make the Pro Bowl. It's still yet to be seen if they can live up to Pro Bowl status with their play on the field. Check out my top-five Jets that have the chance to make the Pro Bowl in 2014.

Honorable Mention - Damon Harrison

The Jets' defensive line wouldn't be one of the NFL's best without the emergence of Snacks in 2013. He's a big man with a high motor and a lot of energy. Harrison is already one of the best interior linemen in the game against the run. Harrison has the ability to take on multiple offensive linemen and free up his edge rushers to get into the opponent's backfield. He may not have made my top-five, but he is well deserving of a mention on the list.

5. Chris Johnson

CJ2K rushed for 2,000 yards a few years back and the Jets hope that he has some fuel left in the tank. He is getting back to full speed, following an injury that he was been nursing in the off season. Johnson is going to get a heavy dose of carries in 2014 and the opportunity to put up Pro Bowl numbers, but it's on him to make it work. The Jets' O-Line is great at opening up lanes to run through, so C.J. has his chance for some big numbers.

4. Calvin Pryor

This pick right here may turn a few heads, but I think Pryor is the real deal. It's easy to judge a rookie on talent, but it's also easy to judge a rookie on their willingness to give it their all on every play and that is what Pryor did in his Preseason Week 2 debut. I know it's only one game, but there's just something about this kid that gives me reason to believe that he could be great.

3. Nick Mangold

Mangold has been a rock in the middle of the Jets' defensive line ever since he was drafted by the team. He is a five-time Pro Bowl and three-time All-Pro player. Mangold had the tough task of replacing former Jets center Kevin Mawae during his rookie season. Whenever decides to hang up the cleats, his replacement will have a hard time duplicating him. Mangold is the highest paid NFL center for a reason and his accolades back it up.

2. Sheldon Richardson

2. Sheldon Richardson

The Jets didn't receive high draft grades when the team took him in the 2013 draft, but boy did he prove all of them wrong. Richardson won the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award and finished the season with 78 tackles. He is one of those guys that plays with a lot of emotion and sometimes it's a little too much. If you ever wanted to look for him on the field, just look for No. 91 who is usually in the face of an opposing quarterback.

1. Muhammad Wilkerson

Wilkerson was known as a sleeper in the 2011 draft and the 12 teams that passed on him must of been dozing off when they didn't select him. He is long, quick and like Sheldon Richardson and Damon Harrison, he plays with a non-stop motor. Last season he was named as an alternate to play in the 2013 Pro Bowl, but in 2014 I'm sure he wants to be named the starter.
