5 Denver Broncos Players Who Could Make Pro Bowl in 2014

With a team as deep and talented as the Denver Broncos, it was very difficult to decide on five players who could make the Pro Bowl this year. Five players were selected to play last year (Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Matt Prater and Louis Vasquez), but due to participation in the Super Bowl, playing in the game was not an option.

Here are five players I think could make the Pro Bowl in 2014.

After a career year in which he only missed one field goal the entire season, plus successfully breaking the NFL record for longest field goal, I fully expect Matt Prater to continue that performance and make a return trip to the Pro Bowl. His numbers may not be great due to the high octane offense, but he will make the most of his chances.

4. Ryan Clady, LT

After missing all but two games last year with a foot injury, expect Ryan Clady to return to top form. His presence was sorely missed last year, especially in the Super Bowl. Now fully recovered for 2014, look for him to return to top form and keep Peyton Manning upright.

3. Demaryius Thomas, WR

Entering his contract year with the Broncos, Demaryius Thomas has more than impressed in the last couple years. I expect this year to be no different as he should be close to the numbers he recorded last year as he looks for his second Pro Bowl selection.

2. Aqib Talib, CB

One of the biggest free agent pick-ups during the offseason, Aqib Talib plays like a brick wall. His ability to shut down the opposing wideouts makes him a solid candidate to make the Pro Bowl if he stays healthy.

One of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, Manning had a record-breaking year in 2013. While he most likely won't repeat those numbers, he will be pretty close as he looks to win his second ring. Don't be surprised if he throws for another 50 touchdowns in 2014.
