As the Buffalo Bills get ready for their important Week 3 preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their fourth game of the preseason, they are almost ready to determine their final 53-man roster. These five players need to make a good impression if they want to make the cut.

At this point there isn’t much more Hopkins can do to convince the coaching staff to keep him on the roster. It’s up to the Bills to decide whether or not they want to have a kickoff specialist on the team. Dan Carpenter is already entrenched as the primary kicker, so Hopkins may be on the outside looking in if the Bills want Carpenter to handle kickoff duties as well.

Coming off a campaign where he often looked overmatched, Brooks has played much better this preseason. The problem for Brooks is that the Bills are very deep at cornerback. The best-case scenario for him is that he finds a role on special teams. But even though Buffalo’s cornerbacks have had injury issues, Brooks may be undone by the sheer depth the Bills possess at the position.

3. DT Landon Cohen

A classic example of a journeyman veteran, Cohen is trying to find a spot on Buffalo’s excellent defensive line. Cohen has been battling with Corbin Bryant and Stefan Charles for playing time this preseason. At this point, Cohen is probably behind those two, so he will have to see if the Bills want to keep an extra defensive tackle on the roster. Even if he makes the team, Cohen likely won’t see much playing time.

2. G Kraig Urbik

It’s quite surprising to see Urbik here, as many thought he would be a front-runner for a starting spot on the Bills offensive line. But the solid play of rookies Seantrel Henderson and Cyril Richardson has created a logjam, and Urbik has not distinguished himself to this point. The one thing Urbik has going for him is the experience he possesses, but unless his current play picks up, he may not make Buffalo’s roster.

Graham continues to remain the biggest question mark on the Bills roster as far as whether or not he will make the cut. The situation of the Bills' depth chart at wide receiver is a bit complicated right now, but Graham still remains at best the No. 6 wideout. These final two preseason games will likely be Graham’s last chances to show the coaching staff that he is worthy of a roster spot.
