5 Seattle Seahawks Who Stood Out In Preseason Week 3

In a game that was lopsided from the very first snap, the Seattle Seahawks crushed the Chicago Bears in all three phases of the game on their way to a 34-6 victory on Friday night. In front of over 67,000 fans, the Seahawks put on a show for their home crowd. Although many players played well, five of them stood out above the rest with exceptional performances.

Schofield continued his strong preseason with another sack on Friday. Pete Carroll has been praising Schofield's relentless pursuit of the quarterback and it was on full display on Friday night. He should make the Seattle Seahawks' roster and get some solid playing time this year.

While he may have missed a 53-yarder off the upright, Hauschka also nailed a 59-yard field goal to end a perfect first half for the Seattle Seahawks. Now that is some serious leg. Hauschka has been one of the more reliable kickers in the NFL, but he has never been known for having incredible leg strength. It appears he has been working on that this offseason.

Speed kills. Not only did Harvin show that on his three receptions for 61 yards - an average of 20.3 yards per catch - but he also took the opening kickoff 46 yards to set up the Seattle's first touchdown drive. Harvin has the ability to be a huge difference-maker for Seattle's offense this year. As long they can keep him healthy, the Seahawks will reap the benefits of having #11 on the field.

Lane, a sixth-round pick in 2012, was the most impressive defender on a Seattle Seahawks team that held the Chicago Bears to only six points. While the 41-yard interception return was his highlight of the night, Lane also quietly led the Seahawks in tackles and had three passes defended. With games like this, Lane will likely be the featured slot cornerback for Seattle's defense this year.

With a quarterback rating of 140.0, Wilson was the MVP of this game for the Seattle Seahawks. He also ran for 23 yards and his third rushing touchdown of the preseason. More than anything, though, Seattle's offense looks practically unstoppable with Wilson at the helm. While it is just preseason, Wilson looks even better this year. That's a scary thing for any team facing the defending champions this season.
