The Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns head into their final preseason game of 2014 with many questions left in their roster. It will be a good game as players are fighting for their spot on the team. Here are my 5 bold predictions for the Thursday night game.

5. David Fales will perform well with the 1st team

5. David Fales will perform well with the 1st team

David Fales

David Fales will start the game against Cleveland. I predict he will have a confidence boosting games as he will get reps with most of the 1st team offense. The rookie, from San Jose State, was drafted in the 6th round.

4. Josh Gordon will score a touchdown of 50+ yards.

4. Josh Gordon will score a touchdown of 50+ yards.

Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon showed last season that he was a force in this league. This problem this year is he may not be playing. He is eligible to play in the final preseason game, however. The Bears are yet to announce their safety starters. Gordon will take advantage and burn whoever is out there for a bomb from Brian Hoyer.

3. Shea McClellin will show improvement

3. Shea McClellin will show improvement

Shea Mcclellin

Shea McClellin has been making strides, all off season and preseason, in his move to outside linebacker. Early on he really struggled. He has improved every game since. In the final game, he will play well in pass coverage. Well enough to where he might even get a pass deflection.

2. Johnny Manziel will light up the Bears second team

2. Johnny Manziel will light up the Bears second team

St. Louis Rams v Cleveland Browns

Johnny Football has been a dud in the pass game through his first 3 NFL games. He will break out against a Bears defense that struggled defending the misdirection play, last week. Manziel will use his legs to fool the Bears defense and post some nice numbers.

1. Cleveland wins 31-24

1. Cleveland wins 31-24

Chicago Bears v Cleveland Browns

The Browns will come out much like the the Seahawks did last week and run misdirection and bootlegs to throw Chicago off balance. Brian Hoyer plays well and solidifies the decision that made him the starter and the Browns win by a touchdown.
