According to a survey conducted by NFL Nation Confidential, the Oakland Raiders lead the way as the least desirable team to play for in the NFL. NFL Nation Confidential polled over 100 players with the statement: "The only way I'd play for [team name] is if they doubled my salary." The fact that the answers came from current NFL players makes the survey that more intriguing. Here’s a look at the five least desirable teams to play for in the NFL.

The two biggest problems facing the Green Bay Packers are that they play in ridiculously cold weather and Green Bay is a very small town with not much going on. NFL players make more money than any of us could ever dream of at such a young age. For that reason, they want to go out and spend it. Unfortunately, there simply isn’t much going on in the sense of entertainment in Titletown, USA.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ fan base is lacking, the team has been very unsuccessful for many years and it doesn’t look like they are going to be good anytime soon. In all honesty, I’m shocked that the Jaguars aren’t sitting right next to the Raiders on this list. The only thing the Jaguars got going for them is that players with enough money can purchase awesome oceanfront property.

Being a Cleveland sports fan is about as depressing as it gets, and that’s with LeBron James returning this year. The Cleveland Browns haven’t won a championship since 1964. Even worse, they have never even experienced a Super Bowl. There are too many bad issues with the organization, the weather sucks and it’s not that great of a town to live in. No wonder no one wants to play in Cleveland.

2. Buffalo Bills

A common theme with four of the five teams on this list is a clear lack of success over the past decade. A common theme with three of the five teams on this list is the horribly cold weather the team plays in. Unfortunately, no team fits the mold better than the Buffalo Bills. The team has been in turmoil for so long that NFL fans actually feel sorrow for Bills fans.

The Raiders insist that the poll is skewed based on what the media and NFL fans think of the Silver and Black. In reality, they are convinced Oakland is the place to be. I have to imagine Al Davis’ destruction as owner and general manager of the team prior to his death didn’t help the cause. I can think of worse teams to play for, but the Raiders are definitely right up there.
