If you haven’t already figured it out by now, Bill Belichick doesn’t care a whole lot about anything unless it’s related to football. He’s deflected more questions from reporters than all the other coaches in the NFL combined. On top of his unwillingness to answer many questions, he sometimes degrades the reporter along the way. It can be funny, if you’re really into dry humor.
Ben Volin of the Boston Globe recently asked Belichick a legitimate soccer question regarding the New England Revolution (who share Gillette Stadium with the New England Patriots). Predictably, the Pats’ coach shot it down and quickly turned the conversation back to winning football games.
Love this answer from Belichick the other day when asked about the NE Revolution signing Jermaine Jones pic.twitter.com/6xyqQEE2B4

Volin: It’s a big day for the Revolution as they introduce Jermaine Jones. Do the Patriots have a competitive relationship with the Revs or is everybody friends?
Belichick: We’re all under the same roof. We’re just trying to go out there and win football games. I don’t know anything about soccer; I don’t even know what the rules are. I’m just trying coach the Patriots and win football games, that’s all.
Also, just a reminder, don’t ask him about Gronk’s status:
