Most of the Philadelphia Eagles' roster moves were expected today. However, there were some cuts made that fans definitely do not agree with, especially at the running back position. Here are five of the most surprising cuts.

Alex Henery makes this list because there are not many question marks in regards to Philadelphia’s decision making. However, an undrafted rookie beat out a guy who has kicked in this league for three seasons. Definitely a gamble.

He started at times last year, but Damion Square did not do enough in camp and during the preseason to make it back.

3. Henry Josey, RB

The next three guys are running backs. Henry Josey definitely earned a spot on the team, but his inconsistency with pass-blocking was probably the deciding factor. He will most likely be claimed on waivers. If not, a practice squad spot awaits.

With Josey being cut, it looked like Kenjon Barner would be given a spot, with his Oregon connection and ability to play special teams. However, this was not the case.

Matthew Tucker was amongst the league leaders in touchdowns and ran well during the preseason, but it did not warrant a roster spot. It was assumed the Eagles would go with four running backs in 2014. However, they decided to go with only three.
